When you want to search for a Catalyst user in order to view and/or change their existing account information (such as password resets, account information or privileges). 

Step-by-step guide

  1. From the toolbar at the top of any screen, go to AdminUser Profile

  2. This will take you to the User Maintenance screen. On this screen click on Search User.

  3. This will take you to the Search User screen. Type in the first name of the user whose account you wish to view and click on Search. You can use the other additional search criteria too, but using the First Name field is one of the easiest ways to find a user.

  4. After you click on Search, you will be taken to User List screen. Click on the users User ID that appears as a hyperlink in blue.

  5. Only Catalyst System Administrators are able to view and make changes to another user's accounts. For any changes made, the Catalyst Administrator will need to enter their own password under Administrator Password - this step tracks all changes made and who they are made by for security and privacy purposes. 

    From this screen you can navigate to and make changes to a user's account. These changes include: User Privileges, activating user accounts, updating passwords, and changing a user's account type (User or Administrator).

  6. While you are searching and IF you get the screen below. Click on Go Back  and try using a different search criteria, such as User ID, Last Name, etc.

Info
If you cannot find a user or if you wish to see your agency's complete list of active and inactive users, you can search ALL users by leaving all search fields blank. This will give you a complete list of all active and inactive users.
