Step-by-Step Guide

  1. The same access point is used to Grant a Role to a Catalyst User or Revoke a Role
  2. Add a User Role -Basic Steps Click each selection item in turn (Demonstrated steps with screen shots follow these steps) Add Role(s) to a User
  3. Start with User Get Table Content
  4. Select the ACL User Assign Roles
  5. Read Locked Client Add to Assigned Read Locked Client Commit Changes Confirmation

  7. Assigning a Role to a Catalyst User that currently does not have that status From the Access Control menu, select Add Role(s) to a User.

  8. Select Start with User (click on words Start with user)

  10. Select the Catalyst User – list of user names display Select the user name from the list

  11. Click on Assign Roles
  12. The screen is refreshed and new options become available. Click Add to Assigned
  13. Read Locked Client
  14. Select Commit Changes to assign the user role to that Service Provider. Note that the display in the Start with User/Get Table Contents will display the Service Provider’s first and last name. While the action and Commit Changes screen will display the Catalyst User ID of the Service Provider.
