Adding a new clients to Catalyst
Please note: It is very important to conduct a client search prior to creating a new entry. This is done to avoid duplications.
In order to add a new client to Catalyst, you will need to click on the Client Info tab and select Client Search:
You must enter a field and click Search in order to avoid this error message:
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Add Client:
Enter client information. Complete all fields with a red asterisks - these are required fields
only provided entry level information. . Minimal information can be entered for clients who are When the client's City is entered, Catalyst will automatically populate the County field; if there are multiple County options for
the City selected another window will pop up and ask that you select the relevant County from the available list. Click Save at the bottom of the page:
Check to see if a DATIS Key has been created for the new client:
Check to see if client was added to the list:
When the client has been located via the screen above, open the Client Information screen, scroll down until you see the GAIN Assessments button, and click on it.
Creating A New Treatment Episode to Administer GAIN Q3
When trying to add a new assessment for a client, you may receive the error message below. If you do not receive this error message please skip to step 2.
- Click on the most recent treatment episode and select the "Edit Treatment Episode". Then, you will have to select "Inactive" & save the changes.
2. Once the previous treatment episode has been inactivated, click on the Actions button on the top left on your screen, and "Create new treatment episode".
3. Once a new treatment episode is created, you should now be able to choose your template in the new treatment episode, and administer the assessment.
