Description
Summarizes the length of stay statistics for Withdrawal Management Services Residential Programs. The Length of Stay is categorized as follows:
- 1 day
- 2 days
- 3 – 7 days
- 8 – 12 days
- Over 12 days
NOTES:
- The Length of Stay is defined as the difference between the latest program end date of a WMS Residential program and the earliest program start date of a WMS Residential episode, within the same admission or episode, i.e. Program End Date – Program Start Date + 1. The reason for this is that the Discharge Date of the admission may be later than the last Program End Date due to administration work…etc. The program start date and program end date could be taken from two different WMS Residential programs.
- Admissions with open WMS Residential programs are excluded from this report, i.e. all WMS Residential programs within the admission/episode must be closed to be included in this report.
