Which system should I pick? Can DATIS help with procurement?

Ontario Health and DATIS cannot recommend a specific client management system, and cannot assist with procurement. If you need support with this work, please consider joining a vendor-specific Community of Practice meeting; these meetings occur every Friday at noon and are co-facilitated by CMHA Ontario and AMHO.

When should I begin this process?

Even if you have not yet selected your new vendor, or if you require further support to begin migrating, please submit a plan to the PDS Service Desk to ensure Ontario Health is aware that you are working towards compliance. 

Many service providers may not be ready to migrate to a new system, as this work can take significant time, effort and cost. After you submit your plan, DATIS will work with you to install necessary supports and establish the most appropriate migration timeline for your agency.

How do I offboard from Catalyst?

You may begin offboarding from Catalyst after you have selected and procured your PDS-compliant vendor. Catalyst offboarding should be performed as begin setting up your new system.

Is there funding available to assist providers in migrating to a PDS-compliant client management system (CMS)?

If you require funding to adopt a new client management system, please submit a plan to the PDS Service Desk or a general inquiry while includes details regarding your funding requirements.
