Definition:

These data are an indication that a client identified with a gambling problem will have a treatment plan or a reason for not having the treatment plan when receiving treatment at an agency.

Guide for Use:

An indication of a treatment plan or a reason for no treatment plan is required for clients and/or family members who are admitted for gambling treatment service for their or someone else's gambling problem.  When the data field Gambling Problem equals "Yes" a treatment plan will be created or a reason for not having the treatment plan will be selected.  When a treatment plan has been established select "Treated within this agency".  When no treatment plan has been established select the primary reason this task has not been
completed.

Context:

A treatment plan will hold the client's goals and objectives for their recovery. This treatment plan will allow all clinicians involved with treatment of the client to share the story of the client's successes and relapses in working toward recovery.
