Question

In the PR-07 report, do the average Indirect Service numbers have an effect the Direct Service numbers?

Answer

Direct Services and Indirect Services are two separate activity types so no, the Direct Service numbers do not have any affect on the Indirect Service numbers.  The Indirect Service column is dependent upon what you enter for Indirect Service Activities.  The same principle applies for Indirect Services as does Direct Services. In counting the "Average Indirect Service Hours"; this number is the total number of indirect service hours (for individual and group activities) that are associated with program terminations and divided by the number of terminations from the Functional Centre. Activities that are not associated with a terminated program registration are excluded from the PR-07_FC report.

In summary, you calculate the average Indirect Service numbers separately from the average Direct Service numbers, but the formula is the same for both
