This how-to article will help you reset your Catalyst password from the Catalyst home page.
Select the 'Forgot your password' link on the Catalyst home page.
A pop-up box will appear that will ask you to provide your:
- Catalyst User ID;
- Agency Connex Number; and
- Valid Email Address associated with your account.
Catalyst will then validate the information. If your information doesn't match our records, you will need to contact your Catalyst System Administrator for assistance.
Validation Successful
If the validation is successful, Catalyst will send you a password rest email. The password reset link is only valid for 30 minutes.

When you open the link in the validation email a pop-up box will appear that will ask you to provide your:
- Catalyst User ID;
- Agency Connex Number; and
- Valid Email Address associated with your account.
If you make 7 unsuccessful attempts by using incorrect information Catalyst will lock your account. You will need to wait 30 minutes before you can try again. You can also contact your Catalyst System Administrator for assistance.
Once Catalyst re-confirms your credentials, you will be asked to create a new Password.
Password Requirements
- Must contain a minimum of eight (8) characters and a maximum of fifteen (15) characters
- Must contain at least one (1) number
- Must contain upper and lower case alphabets
- Must contain at least one (1) special character
- Cannot be the same as the previous password
You will need to re-type this password in the Confirm Password field. Passwords should never be written down.
