06_Gain_Short_Screen_Data_Downloads

This data download includes the client records for every GAIN SS conducted within the time frame selected. Please note:  the structure of this report differs from the POSIT and MMS in that the screener record is not contained within only one row.
This report includes the client scores for each section (questions on each application screen) of the GAIN SS. Each row displays the client score (total) for the given section of the screener - the complete GAIN SS record for each client will span six rows.  The structure of the report is similar to the onscreen report that can be viewed when the GAIN SS is launched through the Client Information screen in Catalyst.  The following information is included in each row:

  • Client admission information
  • Screener administration details
  • Subtotal scores for each screener are found for each individual client in Catalyst in their Catalyst Info screen under the GAIN SS button
  • Total score for all screeners (not including the Additional Questions)

There are two parts to this DD report – the first part includes the client records (rows) for the first five sections (see table below); and the second includes the client record for the Additional Questions (CAMH modified).  Both parts are located in the same spreadsheet with the Additional Questions in a second table below the GAIN Short Screener scores separated by a header row.  The GAIN SS ID (unique ID assigned to each screener completed) can be used to pull a client’s complete screener record.
The screen shot below displays the screener records for a test client.

The report includes the screen abbreviations that translate per the table below:
