CTS module users can track occurrences of peer assistance on the "Client Details" and "Supervised" screens.

See below the entry instructions for details on how these fields are used in Health Canada's federal exemption reporting requirements.

Entry Instructions

To record a peer assisted visit, select "Yes" on the Client Details screen in the Client Clinical History section. This will reveal the following options related to the request for peer assistance:

  1. Peer assistance due to lack of knowledge
  2. Peer assistance for physical limitation
  3. Other peer assistance required
  4. Peer requested – not available
If this field is selected, it will NOT be counted as a peer assisted visit in the CTS monthly report for federal reporting).

Please note that if the auto-populate feature is enabled for your site, you will need to review the section for each client at every visit.

2. To record a peer assisted consumption, it must be indicated on the "Supervised" screen. To do this, select the peer assisted checkbox in the "Supervised Drug Details" section.
