This depends on your browser.
Generally, NEO will not automatically log you out over any period of inactivity. This is because NEO automatically refreshes every 20 minutes, so as long as the page is kept open in your web browser then you should not be automatically logged out. If you close NEO, and then return to the website within 20 minutes you should still be logged in. If you close NEO, and then return after 20 minutes then you should be logged out.
That said, we have noticed some versions of web browsers on specific devices do not follow the above rule. We believe this is because some browsers impede NEO's automatic refresh. The issue has been reported on Chromebooks specifically.
You experience this issue, a browser extension that automatically refreshes your web page after a set time may fix the issue. Auto Refresh is an example of such an extension.
