Question

In the "Group Member List" - when I "uncheck" the display current members box, I get multiple entries for the same members. Why is this? Also, some have a date listed under the "Date Out" and they're still in the program. How do I clean this up so that there's only one entry for each member? A client is showing up twice, in one instance, she is listed as in and out on the same day. How do I change this and what am I doing wrong to create these problems? How do I get the name of the Primary Staff associated with the youth in a group on the list?

When the check is on in the Current Members Only display mode, only current members of this group will appear:  


When you take the check out, you will see all members historically that are included on this list as well as current members. The members with Date Out dates have been removed from the group on the date out through the Group Info. If you see the clients twice on this particular list, it’s because someone within your agency has removed the client as a group member and then added this client again. Check the Date in date to see when this client was added as a member and check the date out.



Note: When you uncheck the box, you are seeing historical data that is not really pertinent to your current status. Keep the check mark on to display only current members. Any time you want to remove a group member, you can place a check in the “Delete” box beside the client’s name and select the reason for removal and save. The date out automatically is the date you removed the client.  When the check is in the “Display Current Members Only” box, after you have deleted and saved, you will not see them anymore. However, if you take the check-mark out of the “Display Current Members Only”, you will see the client you removed and the date out info. 

Another important note is that this is an agency maintained list and does not affect your data quality.
